latinlover: Daisy, do you feel pressure as a Latin American woman to be a role model?
daisy_fuentes: I feel the pressure as a woman to be the best I can be ALWAYS!

dollhouse: Why are you so successful? It seems like so many other people are trying to make it too...what's your secret to success?
daisy_fuentes: Preparation, perseverance, little bit of luck. A little bit of prayer and a great family.

dancinqueen: How did you get hired at MTV?
daisy_fuentes: I sent them a tape and begged for an audition.

MooShooPorker: is there a downside to all of the success you have had?
daisy_fuentes: Sure, there is a down side to every career at every job I suppose. but once you put everything in perspective, it's what I love and what I chose and there are many more good things than are bad.

dollhouse: Do you currently have any movies in the works?
daisy_fuentes: I just finished a movie for TNT. It's called ShutterSpeed, also starring Steve Borden, AKA Sting the wrestler, and it will air on TNT on the 6th at 10 PM.

Queen_Amidala: What is ShutterSpeed about?
daisy_fuentes: It's about 2 brothers, estranged brothers who are cops and the girlfriend of one of the cops, me, gets kidnapped and that's kinda what brings the brothers together.

palefacedgeek: do you remember the sega/alcatraz promotion, how did you like your visit to San Francisco?
daisy_fuentes: I do remember that and that was a great trip!! and I remember that day we saw an air show put on by the Blue Angels.

Queen_Amidala: What was it like to perform with a professional wrestler (Sting)?
daisy_fuentes: It was all good, I mean he's not what people expect as a wrestler, you'd be surprised by his acting ability. If you got to know him you would be surprised at how sweet and family oriented he is.

garfield: Since you were born in Cuba, what do you think about the relationship between the US and CUBA?
daisy_fuentes: I normally don't like to get into politics, I really don't understand politics, although I'm very much against the lack of human rights and the communism in that country.
daisy_fuentes: I think when it comes to people suffering and being hungry, I think the US should get involved and just stop it. I don't know why they won't do it with Cuba.

garfield: Should that little boy stay in the US or go back to Cuba?
daisy_fuentes: Well, I think he should be granted citizenship. However I think a child at that age given the choice should be with a parent. I would rather be poor and be with my father, at that age.

dollhouse: What happened to America's Funniest Home Videos? Did they fire Bob Saget?
daisy_fuentes: I guess that's a question for his manager.
daisy_fuentes: I was brought in to revamp the show.

Queen_Amidala: Are you going to appear on the Mark and Brian radio show?
daisy_fuentes: On the what???
daisy_fuentes: I don't see why not....well, maybe it's way too early!!

dollhouse: Ever think about singing?
daisy_fuentes: Not professionally, I sing all the time.

dancinqueen: Daisy, what is your opinion on the success of such Latin artists as Christina Aguilera?
daisy_fuentes: I didn't know she was Latin.
daisy_fuentes: But I guess that's good if she is.

cuteguy31: What do you think about the Latin music explosion in the United States?
daisy_fuentes: When did that bomb go off??
daisy_fuentes: As far as I am concerned that the artists are getting attention, however I don't see how we can call that Latin music, it's pop music, I hope it opens the door to REAL Latin culture.
daisy_fuentes: I think people are more interested in Latin culture now, I think it's great.

surfmama1: does it bother you to be identified with the qualifier "Latina"?
don't you consider yourself simply a woman rather than a Latina?
daisy_fuentes: I consider myself both.
daisy_fuentes: There are many other words that can be used to describe me.

irule: where are you represented now?
daisy_fuentes: By a fabulous manger named Ray McKigney, and I have to give PROPS to his VERY hot assistant Julie!

garfield: Do you feel that the representation of the Hispanic culture is adequate?
daisy_fuentes: NO.

MooShooPorker: do you like chinese food?
daisy_fuentes: LOVE

palefacedgeek: I have severe acne, and am shy around girls, do you have any advice?
daisy_fuentes: LOL
daisy_fuentes: Don't pop! Go see a good dermatologist, and flowers always help!!

dancinqueen: Daisy: Marilyn Manson or Trent Reznor?
daisy_fuentes: Both!!

andyangel99: Are you planning on ever posing for playboy???
daisy_fuentes: No immediate plans

dancinqueen: is there anyone in Hollywood that you haven't worked with that you would like to work with?
daisy_fuentes: I have a huge crush on John Travolta, but I could never meet him because I would be a huge goof ball!!

benzjam_n: sunsets ? Best in Miami, jersey, Spain or L.A.
daisy_fuentes: Depends on who I'm watching it with!!

daisy_fuentes: Yes. I actually have my own website www.daisyfuentes.com

daisy_fuentes: Not so much religious, but very spiritual.

garfield: Do you think the media is starting to portray Latino C\culture in a more positive light?
daisy_fuentes: No

daisy_fuentes: I honestly think the music industry has to be the slimiest, dirtiest, etc, industry of them all, it's tough!!

andyangel99: Why did you decide to get into entertainment?
daisy_fuentes: Cuz I like to be the center of attention.

daisy_fuentes: It's like the toothfairy -- it doesn't exist.

dancinqueen: what would you say to young women who want to get into "show biz"?
daisy_fuentes: Keep your clothes on!! LOL
